Gilbert and his crew are top notch. They came through for me when I had lost hope because the other demolition crews were booked up. I was tasked with demolishing a water treatment plant at Rayne San Diego. I was overwhelmed and frustrated. Gilbert immediately contacted me after I requested a quote. I sent him some photos of the site he gave me a fair quote and said his crew would be there Monday. Monday came and he and his crew showed up on time and ready to work. By Friday everything was gone better than I expected. His crew even helped me get rid of 5 tons of old water softening resin which was an impossible task. In my book he is Superman and his crew are the Avengers. Don't use the big companies. Stay local go with IMPACT DEMOLITION!! You won't regret it. ~ Mark H

In terms of the size of our project, ours is probably considered small. Two concrete walkways totaling 3 cubic yards. Gilbert and his helper arrived at our house close to 9:00 a.m. and started shortly thereafter. Surprisingly they completed the demo in a little over two hours later. They worked non-stop until the job was completed. I had accepted bids from several companies. The bid from Impact Environmental Co. was middle of road in dollars and sense. They had great reviews but what really sold me was Gilbert. I’ve spent my entire career “reading” people and I could tell Gilbert is an honest, straight up person who is hard working and doing his best to be success in this field! He and his helper were very polite and considerate of us as well as our property. I highly recommend Impact Environmental Co! ~ Ed S

I needed last minute assistance in removing two items from my property. I called Impact Environmental Co. - San Diego Demolition & Junk Hauling, which I found on internet, and received same day service appointment by Andrew. Next Gilbert followed up with text confirming appointment, then John followed up with a phone call informing me they were on their way. They showed up as agreed to remove a patio table and over 6 ft wooden ladder. They were very professional, provided me with outstanding customer service, and charged me a reasonable fee. I am extremely satisfied with the service I received, from Gilbert and John, and would definitely recommend Impact to others. ~ Monique J

Truck #3 John and Michael showed up on time and professionally accessed my needs, they then gave me a fair price!! They were both friendly and courteous, they conducted themselves as professionals, and completed the task at hand quickly and efficiently. I will definitely be calling back for my next project. These guys are great. We worked with Gilbert to get everything scheduled with the recent Angie's List deal. They arrived on-time in their 1000-1200 ETA window (actually a bit early, which was a refreshing change from other folks arriving a minute before expiration of a four-hour window). I showed them what needed to go, and they got right to work, picked up all of our junk, and then cleaned up any mess from moving old stuff. Definitely a 5-star company, and I'll be using them again (they're coming Monday to get some other stuff, and the rate they charge is totally reasonable). Highly recommended! ~ Daniel C

Very easy, great work, highly recommend! It was very easy to set a pick up appt over the phone, we spoke w/ Andrew, he was great. We had to change our appt day last-minute & they were able to reschedule on the spot. They call ahead to give you an accurate eta. It took them barely 10 minutes to get our couch + old table out of our 3rd flr apt which was awesome! Both workers Carlos & Gilbert were super friendly & COVID prepped which was appreciated. Payment was easy via phone, and considering how quick they were it was well worth the $. Definitely will utilize this company again for future bulky pick ups. Highly recommend! ~ Ella M

31Jul21 Impact Environmental got back to me within 30min of my initial request, and scheduled a site visit the following day between 1200-1400. Their driver contacted me by phone at 0945 to let me know that he was able to stop by earlier. Their staff were pleasant and professional. I received a swift estimate, and the work was completed within 20 minutes. Nice to be able to look at my yard again. I'll be reaching out to Impact Environmental again, and would recommend others do the same. 13Oct21 I did reach out to Impact again for removal of yard waste and scrap metal, and once again received exemplary service. Eric and Diego, saved the day for me. Another company came and looked at my storage that contained 2 desks and 14 boxes- only 2 which were heavy and gave me a quote of $378... needless to say was not comprehensible. After speaking with Gilbert here with Impact Environmental Co. He sent over 2 of his best and they were friendly, professional, and put my stress level about moving behind me. 15 minutes later they had me stress-free and charged me a much more reasonable price. Gilbert and his crew showed up as scheduled. The were well prepared and had all the necessary equipment and manpower to do the work as described in the estimate. They were efficient and professional. I had over ten yards of concrete to be removed from my backyard. Space was tight but they did the job with no damage to my property. I had four estimates to remove the concrete. Impact Environmental was the by far the lowest. They finished the job in five hours and did a good job of cleaning up after themselves. Gilbert and his crew did an outstanding job and I would highly recommend them to anyone. ~ Richard W

Working in the consulting industry I interact with a variety of client and contractors. Given my experience I hold certain levels of expectations that I hope are met. Gilbert at Impact Removal had defínetly met and exceeded my expectations. Shortly after submitting a quote request through yelp I was contacted by Gilbert and we setup a time to look at what I needed to be completed. He quoted me a very fair price and we scheduled a date for them to come out and do the work. The day of the job Gilbert called me and asked if he could make it out sooner than scheduled which was fine with me. He kept in contact with me giving me updates on the progress of the work. The finished product is as good as I could've expected. They removed everything that I needed removed and actually allowed us to add a couple things to the pile. I have hired Impact a few times over the years and I’m always impressed by the promptness and professionalism of the employees. They are quick to get the job done and done right. The two men that showed up today removed a large pile of light demo from a bathroom remodel as well as some furniture and general junk. The quote that I got on the spot was less than what I was expecting. They got the job done in less than 15 minutes in the hot sun. I scheduled a mattress removal with Impact via their online scheduling which allowed me to pick a 2 hour window the next day. Eric and Mike called 15 minutes before the window to confirm the location, arrived promptly (even though our gate is hard to find!), and were extremely professional, courteous, and quick. I was very impressed and will default to Impact for any junk removal or clean up after this experience. Plus, they were one of the only options I could find that would pick up your mattress and actually recycle it for a reasonable rate. ~ Heather H

This is the 4th time I have hired this company to assist me with emptying out apartments. The customer service is second to none - they answer the phone, they email a confirmation, they text a confirmation, and the morning of, you will get another text that they are on their way. The men come to work! They are courteous, and they are not put off by the difficulty of the work. It is refreshing to work with this company and their team. This is a fantastic company! They were super responsive, professional, and accommodating. They removed an old shed and took other junk that was no longer needed. The job was completed quickly and I love that they will recycle what they can. I called on a Sunday afternoon for some couches to get picked up and they were able to come the next day, Monday. I was given a window of 2-5pm and they arrived just a little after 2 which was awesome. They were super quick and helpful - got my couches out fast and the price was totally reasonable for the amount of work i DIDNT want to put into getting rid of those darn things myself. Will totally use them again. The guys were really friendly and even offered to clean up the living room area after the couches were removed. Great work! ~ Amanda R

This is the 2nd time I have used their services. The team showed up on time with a courtesy call to confirm time. They were very professional and took great care to move the things that were being hauled. The price is very reasonable. I had heavy sports equipment and mattresses and a large screen older TV that were getting hauled. The upfront estimate was on par with my expectations. Gilbert and his crew are very professional and super nice! I have used them twice and my sister, once, before she left the state. Because I couldn't remember the name of the company I tried calling another guy in the area and he messed me over twice so finally thought maybe my sister still remembers the name of Gilbert's company and she did, thank God! Very happy with this company, will definitely be using again! We needed to be rid of a refrigerator, toilet, tv and computer modems. The fridge needed doors and wheels to come off in order to fit through the door. Submitted an inquiry online, received a call back almost immediately and scheduled a pickup next day. 2-person crew were professional and well prepared with tools to get our fridge out. Gilbert and his crew were all super friendly and professional. They removed a lot of random old junk from the crawl space and attic of a house my husband and I recently purchased and it feels so good to have a clean space. The whole process between setting up an initial meeting and clearing out all the junk was smooth and easy and they take care not to get your property dirty during the removal. They were prompt, professional, and moved my gigantic couch right out the front door, I'm guessing they used some sort of magic or junk disposal witchcraft. 6/5 stars for this company & service! I booked a spur of the moment junk removal service Saturday morning since I had a little “spring cleaning” feeling. I used this service to remove junk from our side yard & old items that are good for donation such as shoes, clothes, bags, etc. They already had an AM service booked, but they were able to fit me in for an afternoon time frame which ended up working better for us. Communication was easy both talking on the phone and through text messages. When Gilbert & Andrew got here they were very professional, fast, & efficient. They understood what need to go and what needed to go and what needed to stay in the backyard and garage. They were also able to get rid of our DIY dog run COVID project and the multiple tires we had. Once everything was loaded, they tidied our back yard and removed all of the leaves that were left behind. I definitely will use them again as we continue to declutter and gather items that doesn’t serve us purpose. I also love that the company will donate items that can be donated, things that can be recycled, & things that need to go to the landfill. ~ Jenilee C
